This february I finally meet up with a personal favorite of mine, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes at their UK run with their End of Suffering tour and oh boy I was not disappointed!
The run kicked off in Manchester at Manchester academy which is a great venue. The openers this time was HO99O9 and Cleopatrick and I gotta say Cleopatrick was for sure my faves music wise, but judging by stage preformance HO99O9 won that part, they made sure to use every inch of the stage.
The wait wasn't long between the bands, which was a massive bonus cause no one likes to wait but I'm pretty sure that they all played a bit longer than the setlist was planned.
The Rattlesnakes was sure excited to go out and play again in the UK since their recent run in Australia. The first song was "Why a Butterfly Can't Love a Spider" which is a banger from their latest album that a lot of people could sing along to. They managed to get in a good mix of all their albums but mostly focusing on their latest one. At a total they played 19 songs, not bad!
Something that was a bit unusual for them was that frontmen Frank & Dean decided to slow it down a bit with an acoustic preformance of "Bleed" which to be fair I didn't mind at all but seen some different reactions to on facebook.
Overall I really enjoyed this show, it didn't beat their Copenhagen show that I went to last year but it sure was great! My only complain is that at some parts tha crowd was a bit dead, bummer for them!
